1887年加禮宛／達固部灣戰役影響花蓮地區噶瑪蘭和撒奇萊雅族社會文化的發展，族人被迫遷離原居地，漂泊失所。自1980年代末偕萬來和1990年代李來旺帶起兩族族人自覺地對外彰顯本族存在，並分別於2002年和2007年正名／復名成功，噶瑪蘭和撒奇萊雅族兩族在正名／復名後展現出來的原民性，採取的策略和途徑有所不同，原因在於兩族雖有相同的歷史經歷，卻有著不同的歷史意識。本研究主要探究遭遇相同殖民統治者的戰爭迫害的兩族，在詮釋該戰役對本族的影響和對內形塑認同與復振／創造本族文化之差異，分析探討兩族正名／復名之所以有顯著差異，根源於本族史觀。噶瑪蘭族在復振31年中一直以宜蘭起源地的歷史，作為本族認同的歷史源頭；而撒奇萊雅族由於在達固部灣戰役整族消隱於阿美族達129年，至今才復名逾10年，凝聚本族認同的手段是以1878年的戰役為起點。加上兩族不同處境，族群邊界意識和危機感也有不同，在加禮宛／達固部灣戰役140年之後，兩族如何從歷史的片斷，摘取對本族深具意義的殘片，兩民族如何採取不同的手段和途徑，原住民族多樣正名／復名策略和歷史意識是本論文主要探究的重點。
In 1887, the Kaliawan/Takubuwan Battle influenced the social and cultural development of the Kebalan People and Sakizaya People in Hualien area. The research aims to investigate how the battle influenced the tribes, which underwent war persecution by the same colonial ruler, on inward identity as well as the differences on tribal culture accordingly. Through analysis results of the distinct differences as evidenced by the rectification/de-sinicization of the two tribes, it is shown that the causes of differences originated from their historical consciousness. Over the 31 years of rectification/de-sinicization, the Kebalan People has been recognizing the history originated from Yilan; however, the Sakizaya People, which has de-sinicized its name for only more than 10 years, due to their hiding in the Amis People for up to 129 years after the Takubuwan Battle, adopts the approach to unite tribal identity by taking the battle of 1878 as the starting point. In addition, different situations between the two tribes cause different consciousness of ethnic boundary as well as crisis awareness. After Kaliawan/Takubuwan Battle has ended for more than 140 years, how the two tribes capture their meaningful pieces from historical fragments in adopting different measures and approaches for the strategy of indigenous people's rectification/de-sinicization of names as well as historical consciousness are the focuses that this research aims for. |
