臺北第二商業學校創立於1936年,臺日籍學生兼收,為臺灣第一所中等夜間商業學校。本文旨在探討教師全為日籍,同學半數為日人的學習環境中,該校臺籍學生所形構之學習經驗內涵。本研究採歷史研究法,先透過臺灣總督府與臺北州廳出版之官方文獻、統計資料與《臺灣日日新報》的相關報導,勾勒出該校沿革歷史與學習環境,再針對7位曾於日治時期就讀臺北第二商業學校的臺籍校友進行訪談。綜合分析文獻資料與訪談內容後,可歸納出臺籍生的學習經驗為:一、臺日籍同儕間感情尚屬融洽。二、臺籍生課業表現較日籍生優異。三、面對欺侮或霸凌,臺籍生有其因應之道。四、日籍教師嚴柔並濟,且一視同仁。五、實用性的商業科目,以及增廣見聞與個人涵養的課程最受青睞。六、懂得運用自身優勢與提升實力才有機會改變現狀。
Taipei Second Commerical School, established in 1936, was the first secondary education night institution of commerce in Taiwan. The article aims to enquire into the understanding of learning experiences of Taiwanese students who submerged in an environment full of Japanese instructors and half of classmates were Japanese. By collecting and analyzing historical documents from Taiwan Sotokufu (the central government), Taipei County Government, Taiwan Nichinichi Shimpo (Taiwan Daily News) to reconstruct its historical evolution. In addition, I also conducted oral interviews seven Taiwanese who had attended this school during the time. Comparing to those historical documents, the article arrives at the following conclusions. First, the friendship between Taiwanese and Japanese students can be regarded as getting along well. Second, Taiwanese students do well in study better than Japanese students. Third, facing the problem of bullying, Taiwanese students know how to handle smoothly. Fourth, Japanese instructors are both strict and kind, and treat students equally. Fifth, business-related subjects and disciplines which contribute to broaden horizons and improve inner character and temperament are most popular. Sixth, the only chance to change the status quo is that making full use of own advantages and strengthening competencies. |
