In 1993, the Kavalan people took the lead in promoting the language revitalization of the plains indigenous. In 2002, the Kavalan was officially recognized by the government as a legal indigenous people. In 2006, the Tainan County Government recognized the Silayas as the county's legal indigenous. This article explores the government's policy response to the plains indigenous and whether it is treated fairly under the national indigenous policy. |
