臺灣高雄市的半屏山，自古即為臺灣方志記載，其「翠屏夕照」風光更是清「鳳山八景」之一。此一今日已成聞名中外觀光勝地，高雄遊憩休閒去處的半屏山，一直有著豐富的傳說，其中並以傳述它何以成為狀似削半樣貌的形成傳說最為家喻戶曉。近年來，筆者積極地從事半屏山形成傳說的研究，但礙於部分資料的未能取得，導致若干問題無法解決。今日隨著資料的獲得，問題終有機會進一步處理。本文欲處理問題主要有二：其一，辨析高雄半屏山是由中國山岳分裂而形成的傳說，其流傳的肇始是源於政治的刻意催生，或者民間的自然產生？其二，重審高雄半屏山部分形成傳說，其流傳的路徑是由風物所在地向外地流傳，或者外地流傳至風物所在地？
Banpinshan, a mountain which is located in Kaohsiung Taiwan, has been recorded in Taiwan's historical books since early times. Its. 'green screen and setting sun' is renowned as one of 'the eight landscapes in Fongshan.' As a famous tourist spot, where people spend their leisure time, Banpinshan has lots of legends. These well-known legend seek to explain why the shape of the mountain is cut into half. I have been studying Banpinshan Legends actively in recent years. However, because some of the materials were hard to obtain, there were still problems that could not be solved. Nevertheless, through the discovery of new materials, these problems can be solved today. This paper aims to deal with two problems: Firstly, it is generally believed that Banpinshan in Kaohsiung came from the mountain in China. Was this legend manufactured by politics purposely or formed by folks naturally? Secondly, this paper also reviews some of the Banpinshan legends in Kaohsiung, and traces their circulation. Did the legends spread from locals to other places or the other way around? |
