斯氏紫斑蝶簡介

正如愛蝶人士所熟知，在臺灣南部的高雄、屏東與臺東一帶有許多「紫蝶幽谷」，每年冬天聚集了數十萬隻的紫斑蝶，包括小紫斑蝶（Euploea tulliolus koxinga Fruhstorfer）、斯氏紫斑蝶（Euploea Sylvester swinhoei Wallace & Moore）、端紫斑蝶（Euploea mulciber barsine Fruhstorfer）、圓翅紫斑蝶（Euploea Eunice hobosoni Butler），以及少數的青斑蝶（Parantica sita niphonica Moore）和樺斑蝶（Danaus chrysippus Linnaeus）等。
