本研究旨在剖析自1986年皮克斯成立至2012年之間迪士尼、皮克斯動畫電影論述的議題發展及研究重心。首先,統整1986年至2012年之間的迪士尼、皮克斯動畫電影研究並歸納出主要研究議題類型,以迪士尼與皮克斯合併的2006年為分水嶺,對於1986年至2005年、2006年至2012年之間迪士尼、皮克斯動畫電影論述各自進行檢視、分類、統計及對照,以釐清迪士尼、皮克斯動畫電影論述議題的發展脈動,進而以動畫品牌象徵觀點切入,總結1986年至2012年之間迪士尼、皮克斯動畫電影研究情形,並且統計出迪士尼、皮克斯動畫電影論述各自的前三大焦點議題;其次,闡述1986年至2012年之間迪士尼動畫電影論述的三大研究重心「產業分析」、「性別詮釋」「東方意象」及;接著,詳究1986年至2012年之間皮克斯動畫電影論述的三大研究焦點「敘事風格」、「寓教於樂」及「成功利基」。本研究最後提供後續研究者具有學術發展潛力的研究議題,分別為皮克斯動畫電影的角色性別設計、文化詮釋策略,以及迪士尼動畫電影與兒童性別觀念再塑之間的相關性檢視。
The aim of this study is to investigate the development and focus of the Disney and Pixar animation researches from 1986, the year Pixar was officially formed, to 2012. The result of the study reveals that during 1986 to 2012, the three major topics of the Disney animation researches are “Industry Analysis”, “Gender Stereotypes” and “Eastern Images” while the Pixar animation researches focus on “Narrative Styles”, “Edutainment” and “Successful Niches”. Nevertheless, this study provides three potential research directions for further researchers: the gender role and cultural interpretations of Pixar animation and the relationship between Disney animation and the reconstruction of children’s gender identity. |
