東沙島面積探討

On the Area of Dongsha Island

東沙島位於東沙環礁約略正西部分之礁台上，呈蟹鉗狀，西側為南中國海深海處，東側為東沙環礁之潟湖，東沙島之南北兩長岸呈鉗狀，中為內潟湖。本研究探討近期東沙島海岸線與面積之變化，所根據之數據包含兩期地面測量成果、一期空載測深光達、及二期由衛星影像判識之成果。目前由民國95年、98年、99年及101年，近期五次實測所得東沙島陸域面積均較地籍登錄者為大。 Dongsha island is located in the west portion of the coral flat of Dongsha Atoll. The shape is amirrored C letter. On the west side of Dongsha island, it is the deep area of South China Sea. On theeast side, it is the lagoon of Dongsha Atoll. Inside Dongsha island, there is a small lagoon. This studyanalyzed the values of area derived from two ground surveying missions, one airborne bathymetriclidar mission, and two from Satellite images.
