本研究係探討單體種類及光引發劑添加量,對以環氧壓克力樹脂為基質紫外線硬化型(UV)塗料性質之影響;UV塗料由環氧壓克力樹脂寡聚合體、單體及光引發劑所組成,係將環氧壓克力樹脂∕單體=80/20(重量比),光引發劑添加量分別為全樹脂重之1、2、3及5%,調配成各種自由基硬化型UV塗料。其中,單體的種類包括單官能性之甲基丙烯酸甲酯(MMA)、雙官能性之二丙烯酸1, 6-己二醇酯(HDDA)與二丙烯酸三丙二醇酯(TPGDA)及三官能性之三甲醇基(三甲醇基丙烷三丙烯酸酯)丙烷三丙烯酸酯(TMPTA)與三丙烯酸異戊四醇酯(PETA)等5種壓克力系單體,光引發劑則採用光裂解型之Benzil dimethyl ketal(Irgacure 651)。試驗結果發現,各種配方之UV塗料以含雙官能性TPGDA單體及3%光引發劑添加量者,可獲得最為均衡之塗料與塗膜性質,但塗膜附著性仍待進一步改善,才適合用於木材塗裝。
The objectives of this study were to investigate the effect of monomers and dosages ofphotoinitiator on the properties of UV-curing coatings which prepared from epoxy acrylate resinoligomer, monomer and photoinitiator. The formulation of each free radical polymerization UV-curingcoating was epoxy acrylate resin /monomer by the weight ratio of 80/20, and the dosage of photoinitiatorbased on the weight of total resins including 1, 2, 3, and 5% was added, respectively. Five kinds ofacrylate monomers such as mono-functionality (methyl methacrylate, MMA), di-functionality (1,6-hexanediol diacrylate, HDDA; tripropylene glycol diacrylate, TPGDA), and tri-functionality (trimethylolpropane triacrylate, TMPTA; pentaerythritol triacrylate, PETA) monomers and one ofphoto-cleavage type photoinitiators benzil dimethyl ketal (Irgacure 651) were used. The results showedthat, among all the UV-curing coatings, the one containing TPGDA monomer and 3% dosage ofphotoinitiator had excellent performances and a balance effect on the properties of coatings and films.However, the poor adhesion of this UV coating must further be improved for wood finishing. |
