對阿里山國有林班地種植山葵的意見調查與分析

Opinion Survey and Analysis of planting Wasabi in National Forest Land of Alishan Area

民國七十二年阿里山山公路通車後，因交通方便，人口急速回流，加上外來人口湧入，種植山葵的成本降低，加上日本商人之收購，種植百姓越來越多，但在林地內種植山葵會對水土環境造成衝擊，由於山葵問題的處理牽涉到當地百姓的生計與國土保安政策衝突的瓶頸，本研究為瞭解一般民眾對山葵問題的看法，訪問了901 位民眾，有效問卷為895 份，其中有697 的民眾（佔77.9%）認為處理阿里山山葵最適合的方法是「設置山葵專業區」。只是要設置專業區，尚需有關單位做進一步的研究。 Owing to high commercial value, suitable geographical site and well developed traffic network, planting area of Wasabi is increasing rapidly in Alishan's national forest land. But plantation of Wasabi has caused environmental impact in Alishan area. The main purpose of this study is to acquire general public's viewpoints to solve Wasabi's problem. After interviewing 895 persons, 697 persons (about 77.9%) thought that setting of professional productive area is the best solution.
