本試驗目的在於評估經磷胺化合物處理木材之抗白蟻性,試材係選取台灣二葉松邊材分別與五氧化二磷及五種不同之丙胺、辛胺、苯胺、對-甲苯胺及對-硝基苯胺等,於二甲基醯胺溶劑中反應,而後再經2天丙酮與14天蒸餾水兩段淋溶處理,並依照美國木材保存協會E1-97試驗標準進行抗白蟻試驗。結果顯示:磷胺化合物處理材之抗白蟻性十分優異,經過四週試驗後,磷胺化合物處理材幾不受到白蟻啃食,且其白蟻死亡率均為100%;而對照組試材表面則被嚴重啃食,且白蟻仍活動旺盛;又磷胺化合物處理材中以經含硝基苯胺官能基處理者之抗白蟻性最佳。
Termite resistance of wood reacted with phosphoramides was evaluated in this study. Sap wood of Pinus taiwanensis was reacted with a mixture which was derived by compounding phosphorus pentoxide with each one of five amines, including propylamine, octylamine, aniline, p-toludine, and 4-nitroaniline in N. N-dimethylformamide. Reacted woods, were further leached by acetone for 2 days, and then leached by distilled wa1er for another 14 days. Termite resistance of phosphoramide-reacted-woods was determined according to approach of AWPA E1-97. Over a 4-week testing period. phosphoramide-reacted-woods exhibited good resistance properties against termite attack, resulting in almost no or little damage on the surface of all reacted woods. Mortality of termite attributed by all phosphoramide-reacted-woods was 100%, respectively. Whereas, a severe damage on the wood surface was observed in 1he control specimens, in terms of termites were still very active in the tested bottles. Among all phosphoramide-reacted-woods, wood reacted with phosphorus pentoxide and 4-nitroaniline showed the best termite resistance attributes. |
