本文透過都市媒介考古學的角度閱讀翁鬧〈港町〉當中的都市空間再現。相較於傳統研究中多探討空間中人的身分與能動性,本文強調對於以非人面向──媒介、物質、網絡等──的討論。以此觀點出發,〈港町〉之中呈現出人/物/空間的交纏,體現在本文闡述的人的無機性與都市物質媒介的有機性上。本文最後一部分將〈港町〉置回文學史脈絡,討論其文學襲產與創作時的媒介環境。
This paper intends to explore the representation of urban space in Weng Nao’s “Harbor City” via the theory of urban media archaeology. Different from traditional research, which mostly focuses on human identity and agency in space, this paper emphasizes the nonhuman dimensions—media, materials, networks, etc. The paper argues that it is the “inorganic human” and the “organic urban material media” that contribute to the entanglement of humans, objects and urban space seen in ”Harbor City”. The last section of the paper situates the text back in literary history and discusses its literary heritage and media environment. |
