HPV Vaccines: Not a Privilege for Girls

台灣現行的衛生政策，推廣年輕女性在 9 歲至 26 歲間，接受人類乳突病毒疫苗的注射，對於男性沒有太多著墨。澳美等國則提供男女孩都施打，新版的歐洲 2017 年的愛滋病治療指引，更建議男同志愛滋病毒感染者在 40 歲以前施打人類乳突病毒疫苗。本文介紹男性以及男性愛滋病毒感染者的人類乳突病毒相關疾病的流行現況與疫苗相關研究，並且對於本國疫苗政策提出建言。 Girls aged between 9 and 26 years are recommended to receive human papilloma virus (HPV) vaccinations in Taiwan, but boys are not. Meanwhile, both girls and boys are suggested to receive HPV vaccinations in Australia, the United States, and some European countries. In 2017, the European AIDS Clinical Society guidelines suggested that men who have sex with men, with human immunodeficiency virus infections, and who are aged less than 40 years should receive HPV vaccines. This review article discusses the epidemiology of HPV infections and HPV-related genital lesions, cutting-edge clinical trials, and the proposal of a vaccination strategy for target populations in Taiwan.
