From Metaphors to Mountain: A View of Environment

本文以身體體驗為基礎的隱喻理論為架構，從登山者的體驗作為例示加以分析，而展演出可能的環境觀點。從空間方位隱喻、實體隱喻、結構隱喻三種方式，說明從不同隱喻思維所看待的山林，因著立足點的不同而產生相異的環境觀。從觀點的展現來思考我們可能對待環境的方式，以作為環境價值的反省之墊腳石。 This article builds on the metaphorical theory based on physical experience and analyzes the climbers’ experiences as illustrations to show the possible environmental perspectives. From the orientation metaphor, the entity metaphor, and the structural metaphor, they illustrate that different metaphorical thinking bring about different views of the environment due to their differences in their standpoints. From the presentation of perspectives, we may treat them as a stepping stone for reflection of environmental values.
