Investigation of Adulteration of Mercury Salts in Marketed Cream Cosmetics

汞鹽對皮膚具漂白作用，但汞鹽易引起過敏性皮膚炎，汞中毒等。本著公告化粧品中不得含有汞鹽。八十七年度為了解臺灣地區市售面霜類化粧品含汞鹽之情形，在全省抽購面霜類化粧品共80件。結果檢出1件含有汞鹽，其汞含量高達28,900ppm。本調查係本局之比較檢驗，曾於八十七年七月二十九日發布新聞在案。"

Accordine to official regulations in Taiwan mercury salts, a bleaching agent, is forbidden in cosmetics products. In order to test whether mercury salts were present in cream cosmetics, eighty samples were randomly purchased in the Taiwan area during a period from August to September 1998. The results showed that only one sample was adulterated with mercury salts (28,900ppm).
