Analysis of Hydroquinone、Hydroquinone Monobenzyl Ether in Marked Skin Lightening Cosmetics

八十六年度為了解臺灣地區美白類化粧品是否添加有衛生署公告不得使用之成分：Hydroquinone、Hydroquinone monobenzyl ether，於全省抽購美白類化粧品50件。結果均未檢出Hydroquinone及Hydroquinone monobenzyl ether成分。

Hydroquinone and hydroquinone monobenzyl ether, two effective agents for lightening skin pigment, are forbidden in cosmetics official reglations in Taiwain. In order to ascertain whether the hydroquinone and hydroquinone monobenzyl ether had adulterated in skin lightening creams, fifty samples were purchased from domestic market during 1997 in Taiwan areas. The results showed that all samples met the cosmetics official reglations.
