The purpose of this research is to analyze the implementation of institutional evaluation for primary schools in Pingtung County. We assessthe outcomes using the following four criteria in Meta- Evaluation: 1. the goal of evaluation; 2. thedesign of evaluation; 3. the execution of evaluation; 4. data analysis in evaluation and the differences it makes. The ideas of institutional evaluation and Meta - Evaluation are discussed in depth in our literature review. The sample is consisted of teachers from 41 different primary schools in PingtungCounty, and we analyze the outcomes through the questionnaires we collected. In the end, we make suggestions about how institutional evaluationcan be improved based on our research. |
