The purpose of this paper is to analyze the listening comprehension problem from Japanese learners in Taiwan by using 1(N1) questions in JLPT during 1997 to 2011, and 81 Japanese learners in Taiwan who had passed N2 or N1 of JLPT are invited to answer 1(N1) questions. The results are summarized in the following 5 points:1.The scenes appeared at listening comprehensive testing questions can be classified into 7 scenes, and “workplace” is the most frequently adopted among them while “workplaces” such as hospital, city hall, bank is seldom seen in the test questions. It is highly recommendation that these scenes can be used as good sources of Japanese test questions and learning materials. 2. Among 8 kinds of “communication move”, “presentation” is the most frequently appeared one. In new JLPT, long listening comprehension questions become more,and a lot of questions have 2 communication moves equally been shown within the content of listening comprehension. 3. 16 “topics” can be classified. “Chatting”, “Social phenomenon” and “Company & work related” are 3 adopted the most among them. 4.Advanced Japanese learners in Taiwan are conscious of 7 listening comprehension problems. 5.The learners are not good at “experience and status narration” and “monologue style” of listening comprehension questions. |
