Detection of remote images on the network has rapidly appeared in intrusion-detection devices. Inefficient data processing of remote sensingimages can cause poor detection results. Previous studies focus on imagesegmentation and feature-extraction classification for the detection. Thisstudy proposes an adaptive region-growing-based method that implementsimage segmentation. Unlike other classification methods, which usecomplex calculations, the proposed method uses the direct calculation oftotal pixels in the growth regions. To achieve efficient classification, thepixels in the regions produced by the region-growing procedure are used toclassify various objects. An adaptive algorithm based on the proposed efficientclassification method can automatically detect the remote imagesthrough Wi-Fi. Experiments show that the adaptive region-growing algo- rithm can achieve smart detection and recognition rates higher than 90%.The proposed method achieves better results than existing methods. |
