The purpose of this research is to study the reduced efficiency of watercontent in cohesive soil using quicklime. A series of model tests forcomposite soil are processed at a laboratory, and theoretical analyses ofwater content are produced simultaneously, too. Both of the above areused to verify mutually the reliability of the test result and improvementeffect, and can be used as the basis of quantitative analysis and effectiveestimation in water content reduction of composite soil. Research resultsshow that water content reduction of cohesive soil has significant efficacyand rapidity, and is helpful in improving the engineering properties andintensifying the soil stability of soft cohesive soil. Moreover, compared toother researchers’ formulas, theoretical analysis of the formula of watercontent in this research can more reasonably estimate the improvement effects, and will be helpful for using as the basis of related engineeringapplications. |
