Temperature increase during OLED operation can significantlydegrade the devices lifetime. In order to improve life time, we fabricatedTEOLEDs on Copper (Cu) substrates that can reduce the influence of jouleheat while the devices are operating. In this experiment, UV glue was spincoated onto Cu substrate to effectively smooth the surface as an isolationlayer. The optimum luminance and efficiency were 10020 cd/m2 at 20 Vand 9.6 cd/A at 11 V, respectively. The lifetimes were greatly improvedabout 10 times than the devices with glass substrates. |
