In this research we employ mathematical programming techniques to develop four integer programming models, given the human cost, deadline, area of workmanship, equipment resources, human resources and related constraints, to optimally solve construction operator-machine work assignment problems. To demonstrate the application of these models and to preliminarily test these models in practice, we performed a case study using real operating data from a engineering consulting company. The results show that these models could be useful reference in practice. |
