結合加解密技術之程式記憶體保護模組設計

Designing a Rom Protector Module with Encryption/Decryption Tehniques

電子資訊產品大多數都有單晶片MPU或專屬的CPU嵌入於系統中，而CPU執行的程式通常放在程式記憶體（ROM）中，其扮演著系統運作之中樞，然而現今複製工具的進步與方便，使得花費數月的程式或版權資料，還來不及申請專利，可能就在瞬間被複製而受到相當大之損失。本研究乃針對如何延緩研發資料洩漏的時間，研製了一套低成本、使用方便以及抗複製的程式記憶體保護器模組。本研究運用Simplified DES加解密演算法原理，並以CPLD元件合成電路，與ROM組成一整合的保護模組。其功能提供了預防複製以及非正常讀取資料程序的保護機制，模組內部運用快速比對察覺電路、虛擬私密金鑰技術，會及時監控讀取資料之程序，經實際驗證結果，擁有不錯的資料保護效能，因此可達到研發資料保護之目的。

Most electronic information products have a single-chip MPU or a proprietary CPU embedded in the system. The execution program of the CPU is usually stored in the ROM, playing a pivotal role in the system operation. As a consequence of advanced duplication technology, the programs or copyrighted documents which take a lot of time to complete can be duplicated in just a few minutes. This often causes loss of big money. The present research attempts to find a low-cost, convenient method (anti-duplication program-protection module) of copyright protection.Based on the Simplified DES encryption principle, we combine a CPLD component integrated circuit with ROM into an integrated protection module. This module serves as a protection mechanism that prevents duplication and abnormal retrieval of information. It uses rapid detection of circuit duplication and virtual secret-key techniques to monitor retrieval procedures in real-time. The experimental results demonstrate that this module is able to prevent illegal duplication effectively.
