“Cultural tourism” is an expression of leisure needs, and visiting museum is an example of cultural tourism. This research aimed to explore the museum visitors' hygiene factors and satisfiers so that factors contributed to visitors' satisfaction or dissatisfaction could be understood. In the study, 212 self-administered questionnaires were distributed to those who visited the Hualien Museum of Fine Arts in the end of year 2008. Descriptive statistics were performed to analyze the data. The research findings reveal that the hygiene factor of museum visitors is similar to “tangibles” of SERVQUAL dimension, and the satisfiers are dimensions of “empathy” and “reliability”. |
