A Scientific Exhibition designed by Eames Office Mathematica transformed the abstract theories into the real objects in the field of Mathematics. It was settled in California Science and Industry Museum for 37 years from 1961 to 1998. As the first interactive scientific exhibition in America Mathematica brought the museum exhibition to a new domain with meaning, pleasure and interaction. The endurable contents and overall affection in education made the exhibition to be the classic. How did it form? The research focused on three aspects in exhibit concept, practice and quality, and found the inspiration both on the true value of exhibition and the problem solution in exhibition. |
