The purposes of this research were to investigate the relationships among collegestudents’ perfectionism, flow disposition, and psychological well-being. Participants consistedof college students from Taiwan. The instruments applied in this study included theMultidimensional Perfectionism Scale (MPS), the Dispositional Flow Scale (DFS), and thePsychological Well-being Scale (PWB). The research data were analyzed through structuralequation modeling (SEM). The main results revealed that:. The negative influence of maladaptive evaluation concerns on psychological well-being wassignificant, and flow disposition mediated the relationship between maladaptive evaluationconcerns and psychological well-being.. The positive influence of positive striving on psychological well-being was significant, andflow disposition mediated the relationship between positive striving and psychological wellbeing.. The positive influence of flow disposition on psychological well-being was significant.This study also offers some suggestions for college students, practitioners, and researchersbased on the above findings. |
