Discussion on Life Education and Reconstruction: Why the Blinders are Engaged in the Massage Industry

中途失明者（18-55歲）無論其致盲原因為何，它所波及的層面不僅是該生命個體，更影響其家庭，乃至於社會。本研究針對中途失明者選擇按摩為職業的取向為主，試圖探討其中「生命教育與重建」兩者所呈現的實質意義。同時，將進一步檢視台灣社會歷史變遷過程，中途失明者的就業選項是否有所變化？新的職種是否真能適合視障者安身立命。本研究將指出中途失明者的生命教育不僅是「珍惜生命」而已，更重要的是與身心障礙的共融，唯有接納自己失明的事實，才能重新走入社會與人群開始新的生活。按摩是盲人的傳統產業，雖然司法院釋字第六四九號大法官解釋，宣告視障按摩保障違憲後，按摩市場的競爭者增加，視障者勢必面臨更大的考驗。但是，若將危機視之為轉機，透過確實的教考訓用，在理論與實務上下工夫，或可再創按摩業高峰的機會。

Visual impaired (18-55 years old) regardless of the cause of blindness, it is not only thelevel of the life of the individual, but also affect their families, and even the community.This study is aimed at investigating the real meaning of “life education andreconstruction” in the people of blindness. At the same time, will the future of the newjob can really fit the visually impaired? This study will point out that the life educationof the blind people is not only “cherish life”, but more importantly, the integration ofphysical and mental disorders, only to accept their blind facts, to re-enter thecommunity and began a new life. Massage is the traditional industry of the blinds.Although the massage market competitors increased, visually impaired is bound to facea greater test. However, if the crisis as a turning point, through the correct teaching andtraining, in theory and practice on the job, or the opportunity to create the peak of themassage industry.
