The main purpose of this study was aimed to investigate the relationship between police officers’ organization commitment and organization effectiveness in Kaohsiung City. The research method adopted questionnaire. To collect related research data, a self-designed questionnaire survey was conducted on 370 police officers sampled from 17 precincts located in Kaohsiung City Police Bureau. By means of several statistical methods, such as standard deviation, t-test, one-way ANOVA, multiple stepwise regression analysis, the results of presented as follows: (1)The status of police officers’ organization commitment and organization effectiveness in Kaohsiung city had good perception. Generally, it close to the "strongly agree" level. (2)The men than women police officers had higher perception on the organization commitment and organization effectiveness in Kaohsiung City. (3)The police officers worked in the simple police branch had deeper perception on the organization commitment. (4)In Kaohsiung City, the police officers' organization commitment including "organizational identity" and "strive willingness" were the factors to enhance organization effectiveness. |
