The purpose of this paper is to discuss the writings of a groupof Eastern Taiwan Indigenous writers. I base the paper on Lifok(黃貴潮), Adaw Palaf(阿道‧巴辣夫), Ale Lusolamen(胡德夫),Monaneng(莫那能), Azilasag(林志興), Darkanow Ruruang(達卡鬧‧魯魯安), Vatsuku(伐楚古), and Rahic Talifi(拉黑子‧達立夫). This paper shows how these writers transfer the realliving situations of Taiwan’s Indigenous people and become theembodiment of humanity, emotions and values in their writings. When these writers reflect, and think about words like “ localize” ,“multiculture” , “racial harmony” and “different voices” in presentday Taiwan , they can bring us their enlightenment. They regardthe ordinary and also extraordinary through repeated dialoguesbetween their daily lives and their literary imagination. |
