追憶生命之美好──論林文月的散文寫作

To Retrospect the Beauty of Life by Exploring Wen-Yueh Lin’s Prose Pieces.

林文月的散文淡而有味，從自我對世情的慧心體察而發，用細緻閒適的筆調描述生活的滋味，自成「似質而自有膏腴，似樸而自有華采」之風格。本文擬以時間為線，探討林文月伴隨人生轉折呈現的散文寫作歷程，首節擬從林文月散文創作的觀念與形式美學做探討。次論由其寫作題材所再現的生命歷程及生活體驗，以地理空間的轉換為線，串連起上海江灣路的童稚歲月到台大校園裡的學院回憶。又論其包容中國／日本的多重文化認同，對寫作視野的擴展與陶塑。末節探討其作品所呈現對人生的觀照態度，散文寫生活裡的世相百態，卻不等同於現實本相，在敘事的言說中寄託作家對世界的觀照思索。

The writing style of Wen-Yueh Lin is plain and significant whichfully demonstrates her truly delicate observation of the world from thebottom of her mind. She perceives appreciation of life in keen and placidway; therefore, it is easily seen, for us as readers, in her prose piecesthat words chosen are simple yet, in fact, they are full of sophisticatedaffection inside.This paper chronologically presents Wen-Yueh Lin’s adventuresof prose writing resulting from dramatic life experiences. The firstchapter investigates Wen-Yueh Lin’s belief toward prose writing andarchitecture. The second chapter centers on revealing her perceptionof life experiences by means of examining her writing subjects. Byshifting locations, she associates childhood memory at Chiang-WanRoad in Shanghai with campus life in National Taiwan University. Thethird chapter mainly aims at Wen-Yueh Lin’s broader vision because ofsympathizing multicultural differences, including China and Japan.In the last chapter, Wen-Yueh Lin’s attitude toward life will beemphasized. Prose deals with diverse life aspects; however, it is greatlypossible that a prose writer shows his/her life perception instead ofrevealing the whole realistic life.
