台中彰化婚俗謠諺與婚嫁文化

Observing the Marital Culture from the Common Marital Ballads and Proverbs in Taichung and Changhua

結婚被稱為「終身大事」，可見結婚在生命過程中所佔的重要位置。在民間文學歌謠，尤其是禮俗歌謠，有相當大的一部分內容是對婚禮的禮讚、或是對新人的祝福與期望，從這些歌謠中，我們不僅能探知一個地區的婚俗儀式及婚俗意含，並且也能從中瞭解到此一區域的婚嫁文化精神。本論文之探討範圍，以「中彰民間文學」中與婚俗有關之歌謠諺語為主要文本，從中探究此區域人民傳統的婚俗儀式及婚俗意含。藉以明瞭此區域人民在生命過程中，他們曾如何看待及面對自己的「終身大事」，並與現今的婚俗文化做對照性的比較與論述。

Marriage is considered as ”an important event in one's life.” Therefore, marrying plays an important role in a life. The ballads in the folk literature, especially convenance, mostly reveal the compliment for wedding or the blessing for new wedded couples. Consequently, we could discover the etiquette for marriage and learn its culture from the ballads. This study is to probe the etiquette and culture for marriage based on the ballads and legends in the folk literature of Taichung and Changhua. Moreover, how people in Taichung and Changhua think and confront their ”an important event in one's life” will be discussed and be compared with the modern marriage culture.
