From past experience, we have seen that although Taiwanese animation industry has had brilliant results in performing outsourced work for other companies, when turning toward producing its own animation, it has been influenced by the outsourced culture, and has faced numerous difficulties. However, we believe that if this outsourced culture-which has formed over a long period of time-can transform, then there is hope that the Taiwanese animation industry can enter a new era. This paper investigates the difficulties that the development of Taiwan's animation industry faces and the changes they require from a cultural dimension. It is hoped that this study can be truly beneficial to the cultural environment of the development of Taiwanese animation and the formulation of policies to continue this development, and that it has value as a reference. |
