This paper reviews six categories and nineteen quantitative methods which have usually been applied in the transportation and regional planning. The basic characteristics, theoretical assumptions, application constraints, development trends, and application areas for each method are introduced to hopely help researchers get an overall understanding and selection capability for appropriate methods. |
