轉運中心演進與大型化之探討

EVOLUTION AND ENLARGEMENT OF TRANSSHIPMENT CENTERS

近年來，國內不論是公共部門、或私人部門正朝向建立大型轉運中心發展，包括空運中心、海運轉運中心、高雄港第五貨櫃中心、郵件處理中心及物流中心等。本文從轉運中心的演進分析其緣由，並以空運中心及物流中心為例，具體說明設置現代化大型轉運中心之效益，及其對土地使用及交通運輸之影響。

Recently, public or private sector has attempted to develop large-scale transshipment centers, for instances, upgrading the CKS International Airport to an air hub in the Pacific Rim, reorganizing near thirty mail processing centers to become seven centers, and building large-scale distribution centers near metropolitan areas in private sector. This paper tries to explain main reasons from the transshipment center evolution's point of view. Furthermore, some real-world cases are provided to show benefits of developing a modern large-scale transshipment center and impacts on land use and transportation.
