In the academic circle most scholars regard the ”LangJun” (郎君) in Chin Dynasty as a term to address the member of a royal family or the rank for male nobility title with the surname of ”Wanyan” (完顏). This is incorrect. In Chin Dynasty, some people who were not royals could also be addressed as ”LangJun”. Actually, in Chin Dynasty there were mainly two kinds of meaning for ”LangJun” in Chin. One is the address for those noble young men whether they were from royal families or not; the other is for those officials in ”Shangshu Sheng” (尚書省) or royal palaces who served as guards, documents inquisitors, in charge of stationery, or who served on a regular basis. |
