The aims of the article were attempt to explore the left unsaid experiences of social workers, who had been supervised. Accordingly, the opinions of 13 participants were collected by interviewing individually from diverse institutes of 6 counties in the middle of Taiwan including domestic violence and sexual assault prevention centers, domestic violence guidance follow-up centers and shelters. The results showed that left unsaid of social workers in the supervisor relationship were relevant to working guideline of institute, the limited power and management of supervisor, different context of types and subjects. Further, several layers of left unsaid experience contents emerged from different participants, which included don't know how to say, don't want to say, dare not say and inappropriate to say. The study discovered that domestic violence social worker not only had the unsaid experiences under supervision, but it also influenced their practice. Finally, the result and related research were discussed as well as recommended by researcher. |
