With the development of economy and living standard improving, urban life is changes from material to the pursuit of health and friendly. Policy-makers are increasingly aware of the important of providing age-friendly services to older people. World Health Organization (WHO) has been proposed healthy cities and age-friendly cities, and we are starting to execute these two policies in 2003 and 2010. To understand these two policies, this study used literature review and data analysis, which contributes to the process of the background, history, current situation of the cities. And this study tries to review different assessment system for different region. It will be helpful for the development of urban policy concept in the future, and make sure the direction of urban development and enhance the performance of urban development. |
