This study is to investigate the relationship between Corporate SocialResponsibility (CSR) and Credit Rating Index (CRI). Corporate SocialResponsibility index came from Common World magazine. The credit rating andthe other related data came from TEJ. The empirical results show that the firms withmore CSR have better credit rating. Therefore, the results support that theenterprises to participate in social responsibility can be helpful to reduce the creditrisk and increase credit rating. |
