Taiwan Rheumatology Association recommendations for the diagnosis and management of antineutrophil cytoplasmic antibody-associated vasculitis

嗜中性白血球細胞質抗體相關血管炎（anti-neutrophil cytoplasmic antibodyassociated vasculitides, AAVs）在台灣屬於少見的疾病。臨床的初始症候表徵相當多樣化，因此診斷不易；病程反覆且可能涉及多重器官系統，故治療上常需跨專科的合作，須考慮長期治療過程中如何嚴格控制疾病，且兼顧避免免疫抑制治療之副作用與併發症。因此本診斷與治療建議之目的在提供簡要的診斷、治療與病情追蹤建議，以提供臨床醫師在照顧AAV病患時之參考，成為持續改進AAV病人預後之基礎。

Anti-neutrophil cytoplasmic antibody-associated vasculitides (AAVs) are uncommon in Taiwan. AAVs are hard to be diagnosed due to variable initial clinical presentations. The disease courses are highly diverse and involve multiple organ systems; therefore treatment of AAV usually requires multidiscipline cooperation. Furthermore, treatment should be balanced between tight control of the diseases and minimization of complication caused by repeated and prolonged immunosuppressive therapies. The recommendations intend to provide concise diagnosis, treatment and follow-up suggestions as a reference for caring AAV patients, herein establishing a basis for continuous improvement of AAV prognosis.
