巨細胞血管炎：兩例個案報告與台灣文獻回顧

Giant cell arteritis: report of two cases and review of the literature in Taiwan

巨細胞血管炎／顳動脈血管炎是北歐最常見的血管炎，尤其是在斯堪地那維亞背景的族群。然而在漢人中巨細胞血管炎相當稀少。雖然巨細胞血管炎通常發生在五十歲以上的人口且影響主動脈初級分枝，尤其是外頸動脈，在台灣也有小於五十歲或內臟型的巨細胞血管炎被報告。在台灣的文獻多限於個案報告。我們在此報告兩個新的個案，並且摘要過去的台灣經過切片的個案文獻。來自不同漢人社群的文獻也列入討論。

Giant cell arteritis (GCA)/ temporal arteritis (TA) is the most prevalent arteritis in northern Europe, especially in populations with a Scandinavian background; however, GCA is rare in Chinese. Although GCA usually occurs after 50 years of age and involves branches of the aorta with a predilection for the external carotid artery; GCA before 50 years of age or visceral GCA has also been reported in Taiwan. The literature in Taiwan involving GCA/TA is limited to case reports. We present two new cases and summarize previous case reports undergoing temporal artery biopsies in Taiwan. The literature involving different Chinese Han societies is also discussed.
