Soft tissue calcifications are a frequent complication in patients with chronic renal failure (CRF). Although it has been known for many years as a frequent complication of this condition, the improvement on the management of patients with chronic renal failure, has resulted in a decrease of metastatic soft tissue calcification is decreasingly observed in hemodialysis patients in the present era. We report here a case of large metastatic calcifications seen in chronic renal failure with hyperparathyroidism, and aluminum intoxication. |
