Rheumtoid arthritis (RA) and ankylosing spondylitis (AS) are considered to be separate and unrelated diseases. However, the two diseases share some common features. It may be difficult to distinguish between these two diseases when the signs and symptoms of the one disease overlap those of the other. The coexistence of RA and AS/Reither's syndrome was rarely reported in the literature. We reported two cases, one with coexisting RA and AS, and the other with coexisting RA and Reiter's syndrome. |
