應用數位積木提升幼兒空間能力培養成效之研究

Applying Digital Building Blocks to Enhance Spatial Ability Cultivation Effectiveness for Preschoolers

樂高玩具是屬於一種透過手部操作組合的積木，幼兒利用樂高玩具的組合過程培養空間能力。從一開始構思到作品完成，皆展現參與者邏輯思考與空間能力訓練的歷程，亦可以訓練幼兒解決問題及變通的能力。然而，目前數位多媒體已十分普遍，美國樂高公司已發展出「數位積木」。本研究主要的目的是透過空間智能的理論，運用「樂高積木數位設計軟體LDD」於幼兒空間能力之培養，並探討數位積木與空間能力學習成效之關係。此外，本研究成果將有助於改善教師運用數位多媒體教學在幼兒空間能力之培養成效。

“LEGO Toy” is toy building blocks, and preschoolers can use LEGO to cultivate their spatial abilities through the block building processes. From the idea creation to the completion of the block building work, it shows the participants’ training course of logical thinking and spatial abilities. Moreover, it can also train the problem-solving abilities of the preschoolers. However, due to the digital multimedia is very common nowadays, LEGO United States has developed digital building blocks. The main purpose of this study is to use LEGO Digital Designer software to cultivate preschoolers’ spatial abilities through spatial intelligence theory, and to explore the relationship between digital building blocks and spatial ability cultivation outcomes. Besides, the results of this study can help improve the performance for the teachers applying digital multimedia in cultivating the spatial abilities of the preschoolers.
