“LEGO Toy” is toy building blocks, and preschoolers can use LEGO to cultivate their spatial abilities through the block building processes. From the idea creation to the completion of the block building work, it shows the participants’ training course of logical thinking and spatial abilities. Moreover, it can also train the problem-solving abilities of the preschoolers. However, due to the digital multimedia is very common nowadays, LEGO United States has developed digital building blocks. The main purpose of this study is to use LEGO Digital Designer software to cultivate preschoolers’ spatial abilities through spatial intelligence theory, and to explore the relationship between digital building blocks and spatial ability cultivation outcomes. Besides, the results of this study can help improve the performance for the teachers applying digital multimedia in cultivating the spatial abilities of the preschoolers. |
