Jeanne Walvoord (1909-2011) was the daughter of missionary parents in Japan. Her life span covered 102 years. She had an enthusiasm for life and a clear mind. Her father died of an anthrax infection in Japan when Jeanne was 10 years old. She returned to the USA with her mother and sisters determined to be a missionary nurse. She wanted to be the best and received a degree in nursing from the University of Michigan. The war with Japan interrupted her missionary activities. |
