全球化‧少子女化時代的台灣日語教育之對策──以創造價值為目標

Strategies for Japanese Education in Taiwan in the Age of Globalization and Decreasing Birthrate: Aiming at Value Creation

全球化及少子女化的衝擊下，台灣日語教育面臨重大的路線考驗，極需深思生存的策略。自我提升的重點在找出需求，提出跨領域的進階策略。跨領域就是「日本語+α」，「α」是附加價值的專業，日語加某專業的「新結合」能否達標，將是創新價值的成敗關鍵。日語融合新領域內容的「新結合」就是一個重要策略，其中的關鍵點在打破現狀，產生接近市場的加值效果。這就是日語教育的創新。從需求找出利基，提升附加價值，擁有更強的競爭力。這一連串的過程非一人可獨攬，教學與研究上能否形成整體的共識攸關成敗。台灣日語教育的主軸機構在日語系，日語系營運在現在與未來，不能畫地自限僅守住過去的舒適圈內。日語系亦應思考如何符合社會期待，以全方位的視野，全系總動員活化系的能量，在全球化、少子女化時代，培育出有意義的人才是很重要的課題與責任。日語系教師要不斷的思考一個問題，就是如何創造價值。

Under the impact of globalization and decreasing birthrate, it is necessary to come up with survival strategies for Japanese education in Taiwan. To survive is to find demands and to propose cross-field methods. The “new combination” of “Japanese+α” is across-field combination. The success of this combination is the key to value creation. The “new combination” of Japanese and another field is an essential strategy. It is about identifying a niche, increasing values added, and improving competitiveness. This series of processes cannot be done by just one person. Whether it is going to work highly depends on whether an overall common consensus to try teaching and research in new fields can be reached. The base camps of Japanese education in Taiwan are the Japanese departments in universities. These departments cannot be complacent and at a standstill. It is an important responsibility for them to mobilize all their teachers to enhance their energy and to make efforts to cultivate talents. How to keep on creating values is an issue that teachers of the Japanese departments must think about all the time.
