Recommendation for Surgical Attire

手術室工作服的規定被視為維持潔淨度的政策之一，特別是預防皮膚常在菌對手術部位的污染。美國外科技師學會（Association of Surgical Technologists）及手術室註冊護士學會（The Association of perioperative Registered Nurses）分別出版手術室工作服實務相關建議供臨床人員參考，包括首飾、衣服、鞋子、髮帽、口罩、夾克和其他配件，相關的議題有材質、設計、於規定地點著裝、穿著的注意事項（含不建議穿戴的物品）、更換時機及頻率、刷手衣是否可穿出手術室等。建議可藉由相關議題的研究及參考文獻，強化手術室工作服規範的實證，以作為臨床人員採行之依據。

Surgical attire requirements aim to maintain the cleanliness of the surgical area, and especially limit contamination from skin flora. The Association of periOperative Registered Nurses (AORN) and the Association of Surgical Technologists published the recommendations and standards relating to surgical attire in 2008 and 2010, respectively. Many facets of surgical attire were covered, including, material, design, where and how to don surgical attire, what not to wear, how frequently one should change surgical attire, whether personnel can leave the surgical area with scrubs, and so on. We recommend consulting references and performing more research related to surgical attire in order to strengthen this evidence.
