In recent years, museums have been arranging exhibitions that focused on interpersonal interactions rather than on the mere display of objects. In order to increase people's learning will and motivation in a joyful atmosphere, many modern museums often use interactive multimedia tools for displaying various exhibitions. The experience of sensory awareness raises the degree and value of amusement; for instance the“Diversity of Taiwan”is one of the famous examples for this kind of exhibition. This study aims to understand the level of efficiency of the display's attraction, vitality and message transmission to the visitors, by describing their categories, demands and assessments gathered from the conducting of questionnaires, observations and interviews in the summative evaluation; it also simultaneously evaluates whether or not the estimated achievement of the displaying target was successful. The researcher suggests that both front-end evaluation and formative evaluation should be emphasized in future assessments in order to avoid any problems which may have been caused when the exhibition was being arranged. |
