斯里蘭卡「台灣三摩地村」志工改宗之敘說分析

Narrative Analysis of Conversion Experience of Two Volunteers in Taiwan Samadhigama of Sri Lanka

「台灣三摩地村」位於斯里蘭卡南部，是2004年南亞大海嘯的重建計畫之一，由一位長住台灣的斯籍僧人募款所建，屬南傳上座部佛教。本文藉由參與這項跨國慈善計畫的兩名台灣志工之敘說分析，討論她們從非佛教或漢傳佛教「改宗」到南傳上座部佛教的原因，及其從事志工的經驗。

“Taiwan Samadhigama” locates in southern Sri Lanka and is one of the post-tsunam i reconstruction aid projects. The fund for the project was raised by a Sri Lankan monk who had been a long term resident in Taiwan. This essay will discuss the experiences of tw o Taiwanese volunteers who had been involved in this project. The discussion will focus on their experiences of religious conversion and as Buddhist aid workers.
