To further its commitment to strengthening cooperation with national libraries around the world and increasing opportunities for international exchanges, on May 15, 2017, the National Central Library (NCL) signed an agreement with German National Library, the Deutsche Nationalbibliothek (DNB) Frankfurt am Main. NCL Director-General Shu-hsien Tseng (曾淑 賢) signed the agreement, which had already been signed by DNB Director- General Dr. Elisabeth Niggemann. Dr. Niggemann was unable to attend the signing ceremony due to other commitments; attending the ceremony on her behalf was Hans-Peter Krieger, the DNB’s legal advisor. |
