Tsai-lin Lin (林采霖), a Mongolian now married to a Taiwanese, has collected 300 Mongolian language children's books. With the Taiwanese government's support, she has had a Mongolian yurt transported to Taiwan to make into a library. In fact, the first Mongolian school was housed in a yurt. At the present, she sends books to young readers through the mail, but in future plans to erect the yurt in parks or inside community buildings. |
