(1) In 2011, there were 12,634 tuberculosis cases (54.5 cases per 100,000 population). Using the case number in year of 2005 as base for comparing changes in incidence rates, the number of cases fell 23.3% and the incidence rate fell 24.8% between 2005 and 2010. Between 2005 and 2010, TB incidence in all cities and counties declined, except for Kinmen County, which revealed a rising trend. |
